In 2023, YTN became the first Korean media company to surpass 4 million subscribers on YouTube, and in 2022, it ranked top in the trust scores among Korean major news outlets, from the Digital News Report by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism, impressing the public with its ability to provide fair and prompt news stories.

Beyond news production, YTN also leads the way in broadcasting and tourism culture.
Since acquiring the Namsan Seoultower in 2000, YTN has worked for public value, by delivering broadcast signals of major Korean broadcasters to approximately 50% of the Korean viewing population. Namsan Seoultower has served as an iconic landmark of Korea and a representative tourist attraction.

YTN world, the first 24-hour Korean-language news channel to broadcast internationally, delivers real-time news from Korea and worldwide to international audiences, including overseas Koreans around the world.

Since its launch in 2001, YTN world has served overseas viewers by offering a diverse array of content programming.
The programming includes YTN’s live news reports, soft news programs produced by its reporters around the globe, special documentaries from YTN Science Channel, and engaging “Newstainment” programs from YTN2.
